General Information

Food, Water and Shoes |
My email is [email protected] - I primarily communicate through email. If you need to speak with me about something urgent, please call the office at: 404-802-8700. If I do not respond to an email during the day, please assume that I have not yet read it.
Communication FolderPlease remember to send the communication folder with your child each day (once we have them!). I know this can be tedious, since most days there will not be anything coming from home or from school. However, it helps students build a sense of daily responsibility that will prepare them for future grades when they are expected to manage a variety of materials. Please gradually make the folder your child’s responsibility to help foster independence toward school routines.

FOOD
Please pack foods that are tree nut and peanut free. Please also pack healthy snacks and lunches. The students need sustained energy throughout the day. This can be hindered at times by snacks with a lot of sugar. Breakfast is also very important for students at this age so they can hit the ground running. If your child is supposed to be eating breakfast at school, please let me know so I can make sure this is happening. Our lunch time is a healthy 30 minutes, but if you notice that your child is coming home with too many leftovers, please let me know. WATER Please send your child to school with a water bottle everyday. Lines at the water fountain take time away from instruction. SHOES Please send your child to school on Wednesday with shoes so they can participate safely during P.E. DismissalPlease let us know of any changes to your child's dismissal information. If there is a change in dismissal, call the office or send a note to school in the communmication folder. If you need to change dismissal information that day, please call the office.
